ATA 101 Ataturk’s Principles and Revolution History I 
 
Reasons for the Turkish revolution: The retreat of the Ottoman Empire, the Ottoman reformist movements, ideologies during the Ottoman era (Islamism, Westernism and Turkism), the First World War and its consequences. National Struggle with all its stages. Mudanya Armistice and Lozan Peace Accord.
 
HUK 1102 Introduction to Law
 
The rules governing society. The purpose of the law, its elements and its definition. Differences between Civil Law and Common Law. Legal environment of enterprises, basic legal terms and concepts. Concept and types of sanctions. Legal systems and Turkish Legal System. Sections of law. The sources of law. The concept of right and the right types. Acquisition of rights, protection and loss.
 
İKT 1101 Introduction to Economics 
 
Definition of economics, scope and relationship with the other branches of science. Basic economic concepts. The market: Demand, Supply, and Market Equilibrium. Demand and supply elasticities. Demand and benefits. The balance of consumer and producer. Economies of scale. External economies. Product markets, price formation: Full competition balance short-and long-term firm, short-and long-term firm equilibrium in incomplete competition. Price formation in factor markets.

General principles and the basic concepts of Business. Business legal structures. Business environment. The organization's goals. Business functions. Business enterprise. Facility location decisions of businesses. The steps in the development of an investment project. Deciding on the investment and its implementation. Enterprises in size and scope of the concept. Interorganizational agreements. Multinational enterprises. Enterprises, technology and innovation policy.
 
MAT 101 Calculus I 
 
The set concept. Number theory. Equations and inequalities. Relations and functions. Linear, exponential, logarithmic functions. Limits and continuity. Derivative and the determination of the critical points of functions. Graphing. Examples of application areas of business and economics.
 
İŞL 1102 Accounting I 
 
The definition and properties of accounting. The basic concepts of accounting. Generally accepted accounting principles and accounting standards. The basic equation of business transactions and accounting. Basic financial statements (balance sheet and income statement). Accounts and operating rules. Accounting recording tools (books and documents). Accounting for flow diagram, uniform accounting system, trade goods, cash and cash equivalents and marketable securities.
 
SEM 1101 Seminar I 
 
The introduction of Kayseri and the industry of its surroundings, agriculture, trade and service enterprises. Business and factory visits, conferences and meetings. The presentation of historical, geographical, economic and cultural status of Kayseri and its surroundings.
 
BİL 1105 Computer Applications I 
 
Basic information about the computers. Basic hardware knowledge. Operating Systems: Windows XP mainly. Basic knowledge of computer networks. The use of the Internet. Introduction to word processing programs as applied in the laboratory.
 
YD 101 Foreign Language I 
 
The basis of language. Introduction to meeting, starting the conversation, presentation of verbs, description of place and person, skills, references, and accepting offers, frequency adverbs, asking and answering questions, the past tense, regular and irregular verbs and the use of adverbs.

 
SECOND SEMESTER
 
ATA 102 Ataturk's Principles and Revolution History 
 
Characteristics of the Kemalist thought. New government of Turkey's political, social and legal structuring. Qualified political reforms: abolition of the Sultanate, the republic's declaration and the abolition of the Caliphate. Social quality reforms: the state's secular platform seating, law, education and innovations in other areas. Objectives and basic principles of the Republic of Turkey. Atatürk's period of economic construction and foreign policy.
 
İKT 1201 Introduction to Economics II
 
Basic macro-economic variables. National income: Definitions, based on the size of national income, national income measurement and determination of equilibrium level of national income. Money and credit: Money supply and demand, money market equilibrium, and types of credit. Inflation: Definition, types, causes and effects. Employment and unemployment: the concept of employment, unemployment causes and types. International Economics: International trade and Gains, currency, exchange rate and balance of payments. Basic concepts related to economic growth and development.

Identification of business functions. Management, production, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources management, research and development functions to be addressed separately. Evaluation of new concepts in business. Management function, production function, marketing function, personal function, finance function, the accounting function, and function of public relations research and development function. Quantitative techniques used in taking business decisions.
 
MAT 102 Calculus II 
 
Indefinite and definite integral. Area calculation. Calculating consumer and producer rents. The concept of partial derivative and the determination of critical points of functions of many variables. For constrained optimization. Compound interest calculations. Matrices and determinants. Calculation of inverse matrix. Solving systems of linear equations. Examples of application areas of business and economics.

Trade receivables. Property, plant and equipment. Short-and long-term debt, equity, revenue and expense accounts, errors and fix roads, scale is heavy, period-end processing, the final regulation of the financial statements and closing entries.

Basic concepts related to the Behavioral Sciences. Disciplines covered by the Behavioral Sciences. Behavioral sciences that contribute to the study of organizations. Place in the application of behavioral sciences. Behavioral Approaches. Basic Model of Consumer Behavior. Needs as the basic cause of behavior. Status and role behavior Behavior plane. The place and importance in human behavior of social institutions. Communication between people. Group, Culture. Detection: Detect the definition, formation and organization of process, factors that affect perception, perception of individuality and detection errors, detection effects on behavior, development of detection capability. Learning: Learning the nature and definition stages of learning, learning theories, learning principles, the implementation of behavioral learning theories in organizations.
